How to place an order

Written by Peter Szendrenyi

The main steps to order on Ordit:

  1. Log in to your Ordit account — via your company's single sign-on (SSO) link, or with your work email and password. (See "Logging in and resetting your password".)

  2. Select your delivery address and time. The address sets which restaurants are available; the time changes what's shown and when it arrives. (See "Choosing your delivery address" and "Choosing your delivery time".)

  3. Choose a restaurant from the available vendors — filter by tags (cuisine/food type) or dietary requirements to narrow the list. (See "Choosing a restaurant".)

  4. Add the items you want to your order. The menu has dietary filters, and each item shows its allergens. (See "Menu, dietary filters and allergens".)

  5. Go to checkout.

  6. Review your details — delivery address, time, and any delivery instructions. (See "Reviewing and placing your order".)

  7. Choose a payment method — meal budget, saved card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay; if your budget doesn't cover the total, pay the difference with a card. (See "How you can pay".)

  8. Place your order.

  9. Track your order on the tracking page — from placed, to confirmed, to picked up (with live rider location), to delivered. (See "Tracking your order".)

  10. Collect your order when the rider arrives — they'll call on arrival. (See "Receiving your order".)

  11. Enjoy.

If your company runs a recurring group order, you may see a restricted view where the delivery address and time are fixed and the restaurant choice is limited. (See "Ordering in a recurring group order".)
