Refunds always go back to the way you paid.
If you paid with a meal budget
The amount goes back to your allowance and becomes available again — but only within the same budget period. For example, a refund on today's daily budget can be used again today; once that budget period has passed, the refunded amount can't be reused.
If you paid by card
The refund goes back to your card through Stripe. It's usually fairly quick, but can take up to 10–15 business days depending on your bank. If you haven't received it after 15 business days, contact us and we'll help — in some cases we can give you a reference number to pass to your bank to help trace it.
If you paid with both
If part of your order was on your allowance and part on your card, refunds go to your card first, then to your allowance.
